Food and drink was available and the ladies from Back Porch Cafe came around with big baskets of food. This souvenir was probably for the kids but I got one anyway. I will eat it ( Shortbread ) later.
Thanks for the trip :)
ReplyDeleteSeems I would have known quite a few folks on your journey a group went from here also, but I knew I would have to be with family this weekend so declined.... bet you had a great time though.... so I am guessing you would not have been home if I had needed a cuppa Sunday on way back from the beach...you would have been forgiven as it was I needed to get back home by certain hour.

I would have wanted a train biscuit too! Hope you enjoy it with a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos Ali xx
ReplyDeleteAs you can imagine Ali, these photos brought a lump to my throat. I loved Maketu as a child!
ReplyDeleteI rather like that type of Jazz music, & though I am not a train person, could imagine the trip would have been wonderful.
Thanks for sharing.
