Hundreds of fungi in just one spot. I guess we have had lots of rain that encouraged them.They are growing so close together they are on top of each other. ( not mushroom )
Ah,Tracy you got it! So no I won't be eating them. ( not something to fool around with - trying them could be a fatal mistake) I know in some countries one can take fungus and mushrooms to the local chemist and ask if they are edible - but not in NZ.

ReplyDeleteWe also, have had a lot of rain, which has produced some very similar funghi, but ours were a sinister black! Definitely not for tasting!
