Salad in the Making.

I get a thrill eating veges I have grown. Last evening to go with cold pork I picked this first salad for the Spring season from my herb garden. I added some home grown avocado. We didn't grow the potatoes (ours are all used up) and we didn't grow the meat.  Delicious none the less. ( red and green really do you well together!)

looks lovelly ... we are in Autummn and ready to tip into winter... so not so much fresh veg at the moment, have to make do with LOTS of lovelly apples and pears xx

You are well ahead of me down here in the South Island!

It looks delicious Ali! I love eating what I have grown too -- even if it's just a microscopic garden. All of us here in the north will have to live vicariously through you in the south for the next few months as we enter the deep freeze!

That looks lovely.

In answer to your cat question, Cassie is in the shoebox and on the left on the header. She has a rounder face and slight tip-of-ear-point fluff. Also she's smaller, though you can't see that here, and has a shorted, quite fat tail, while Sirius's tail is long and thin. Also her collar is red and S's is blue (very sexist!)
