With family still staying we all went out and about today. In Tauranga there is the annual Jazz Festival on so the city was packed. Folk sitting outside listening everywhere. The weather today was overcast but that didn't seem to matter.
The main reason we went into the city was to look at an amazing New Zealand built vessel, the earthrace; which is powered by Biofuel or Biodiesel. It intends to travel 24,000 nautical miles around the world, and break the existing record. To find out more go to their website www.earthrace.net .
