The shortest day produced these which are now smiling from the kitchen bench and filling the room with smells of Spring.

Beautiful flowers! What a lovely way to be rewarded with a rainbow on your shortest day! We had sun for our longest day, and it was a wonderful reward after many rainy days.
Do these grow outside on the shortest day? They certainly wouldn't here!
