Quilt Finished.

I ventured out between the rain showers and  shook the clothes line vigorously so I could hang up this little Jewel Box Quilt.  It is Complete! The colours are quite yummy . It is made entirely from left overs.

Quilt Top Finished.

The rain started shortly after lunch yesterday and hasn't let up since. We had 80 mls in the rain gauge this morning and another 20 since then. So I took the opportunity for some "my time." I added the final black borders to my variation on a Bento Box quilt. It is  generous single bed size and I am delighted with the lovely batik colours  with the black and white. I may have stretched the outside 2 borders just a tad: I hope not.Next question . "Am I going to quilt it myself?" I haven't yet decided.

Binding Sewn Down.

The binding is now sewn down on my Butterfly Enclosure quilt. I think parts still need some more quilting as it is a bit puffy or maybe a press would help. I may add a few more small butterflies flying away or clinging on the borders. I have one spare panel to put on the back with the label.
